They say blue elves taste the sweetest, but I'd like to think I'm bitter. Elgrew killed my parents when I was sixteen, and I've been responsible for protecting my little sister ever since. He expects me to rule over the elgrew city beside him, but the way we treat elves disgusts me-the fighting pits, the butcher's blocks, the pleasure houses we put them in-they make my skin crawl. I'd much rather live in the forest where I can hunt and eat the creatures ethically, but that isn't an option.
