Micaela Elise was born in Okinawa, Japan and raised in upstate New York. An astrocartographer would point out both locations fall on a Saturn line. Her writing provides unique insights into the various lessons and vast intricacies that come with being a Capricorn leading a very Saturnian life- that is to say, the traumas of striving for security while working through shame and broken systems to navigate a path to success. Her work is meant to evoke how beauty is woven into pain and what it means to be alive.
