Clifford, Paula: - Paula Clifford was a university lecturer in Medieval Studies at Reading and Oxford universities, before spending fourteen years as a writer and theologian working in overseas development at Christian Aid. She is a widely published author in both medieval literature and applied theology, and has also worked in religious broadcasting, having been a regular contributor to BBC Radio 4's Thought for the Day. As an Anglican priest she has served in the Diocese in Europe and in the Diocese of Oxford where she now lives.
