"We Are Not Frogs" invită la o explorare plină de voioșie a universului broaștelor, dar și a naturii umane. Broaștele râioase nu sunt ca toate broaștele, așa cum ne dăm seama chiar de la începutul cărții: ele nu pot sări la fel de mult, dar nu fac o dramă din asta - o viață liniștită e tot ce-și doresc. Jocul amfibienilor este întrerupt de sosirea unui câine, apoi a copiilor, care au multe de învățat despre batracieni. Este o poveste distractivă și foarte educativă, ilustrațiile sunt vesele și includ un joc de numărat.
