Dr Sarika Dewan is an NHS GP with an advanced knowledge of women's healthcare. When she encountered multiple challenges weaning her first baby, including a traumatic choking incident, she struggled to find evidence-based, practical resources to guide her. Instead, to alleviate her anxiety and rebuild her confidence, she researched everything possible about weaning.
