Why in the world did I write a cookbook?!

I am here to tell you I have not always had healthy eating as a priority. It took my husband almost dying for me to wake up and realize how much food affects our health. Here are a few things I learned and that I poured into these recipes:

  • You don't need to go all in to see results. It can be as simple as making 2-3 healthy recipes a week,
  • Diets don't work long-term and are not a reliable form of "healthy living",
  • Deprivation does NOT mean healthy,
  • Knowing what ingredients to use in your recipes is vital to a healthier lifestyle,
  • The biggest one...show yourself GRACE.
I want you to know that in some form or fashion, I have been where you are with food and I feel your desire to eat healthier.

This cookbook is unique. It's more than just a book full of recipes. It's more like healthy recipes mixed with love and space for you to grow in your own kitchen. In these pages you will find:

  • Space for you to take notes on every recipe. Maybe you change up the vegetables or spices and want to jot it down. There is space for you to do that,
  • A small journaling section in the back of the book. Perhaps you attend one of my workshops in the future and want your notes close to you when you are cooking,
  • Each recipe will tell you what is healthy it and why I chose certain ingredients,
  • Every page will give you tips on how to use certain ingredients and the healthy benefits of them.
All of my recipes are gluten and dairy-free. No dairy. No gluten. No white refined sugar. BUT, I promise, my recipes do not lack flavor!

I'm proud of this cookbook. But more than that, I hope you feel the love I put into these recipes and you feel supported by me every time you make one in your own kitchen.
