"Who's Driving the Train?" That's the question! Conductor Don loves his job as the boss of a train on the Hither & Yon Railroad.
But today he has a big problem. He doesn't know who's driving the train, and that's something he must find out.
He sets off from his cozy caboose at the back and works his way, car-by-(increasingly bizarre)-car, all the way to the engine at the front. It's a fantastical train, and it has the most wonderful driver. But who is it?
That's where you, the reading parent, or grandparent, or just a comfy friend, come in. This book wants you to do a bit of work BEFORE you read this adventure to your little one. You'll need a picture, about 1.5 inches square, of your young engineer, that you will fasten onto the third-to-last page of the book. (The author recommends removable double-stick tape so you can swap out train drivers as needed.)
Who's Driving the Train? is aimed at 4-7 year-olds. It is meant to be read to a child, at least the first time through. Your little train driver will have plenty to see and explore on this journey aboard a most unusual train!
