Growing up Italian princess was fun and gooey until adulthood set in, and threw me under a waterfall of loveless deceit, mistrust, disloyalty and abuse.

The stories are funny. Some poignant. The language vile at some points, but it's the naked truth, and we all need a little naked truth in our lives.

Journey with me and my greatest loves, no, not a man, my eight children, who inspired me to get out of bed every day, to put on lipstain and keep going...keep loving hard when I was desperate, and never ever losing faith in my fath...never giving in, and only getting better, stronger, wiser.

Praying harder and harder to St. Rita every day, and putting my fate in the only hands that mattered...God.
