I am going to assume that you picked this book up because you are facing a trial in life that seems impossible or unbearable. Maybe you know someone who is facing a season of trials. Maybe you have never read the Bible and you're curious to learn about God and why He allows so much suffering in our world. Regardless of the reason, I am glad you're here, and I am humbled to have the opportunity to share my story of suffering and the wisdom I have gained from it.
