„The High 5 Habit” este o carte care te surprinde prin simplitatea ideii, dar și prin impactul pe care îl poate avea asupra modului în care te tratezi pe tine însuți. Ca cititor, am apreciat tonul energic și motivațional, fără să fie încărcat de teorii complicate. Mel Robbins reușește să explice convingător cât de mult contează gesturile mici de auto-susținere și cum pot schimba treptat dialogul interior. Lectura e ușoară, prietenoasă și plină de exemple practice, iar mesajul central — acela de a-ți oferi zilnic un „high five” în oglindă — devine surprinzător de puternic pe parcurs. Nu este o carte care îți dă soluții miraculoase, dar te ajută să privești cu mai multă compasiune spre tine și să îți construiești obiceiuri pozitive. E ideală pentru momentele în care ai nevoie de un impuls blând, dar eficient.

„Crimă și pedeapsă” este un roman care te lovește mai mult prin intensitatea trăirilor decât prin acțiune. Ca cititor, am simțit că adevărata poveste se desfășoară în interiorul personajelor, în frământările lor morale și în tensiunea psihologică care crește constant. Atmosfera e apăsătoare, dar extrem de captivantă, iar stilul lui Dostoevski te obligă să reflectezi la vină, responsabilitate și consecințe. Nu e o lectură ușoară, însă e una profundă și memorabilă, care rămâne cu tine mult timp după ce ai terminat-o.

„Corpul Conștient” este genul de carte pe care o începi din curiozitate și o termini cu senzația că ai descoperit un limbaj complet nou al propriului corp. Ca cititor, m-a surprins cât de ușor îmbină autorul ideile teoretice cu exemple practice, făcând ca noțiunile de somatică, prezență corporală și auto-observare să devină accesibile, chiar și pentru cineva fără experiență în domeniu. Ce mi-a plăcut cel mai mult este tonul cald și empatic. Cartea nu te judecă, nu îți spune ce ar trebui să simți, ci îți oferă spațiu să descoperi singur. Unele exerciții mi s-au părut surprinzător de simple, dar în același timp revelatoare. Dacă ar fi să punctez un minus, ar fi poate faptul că unele capitole repetă aceeași idee în forme diferite — însă, pentru mine, repetiția a funcționat ca o întărire a conceptelor.

This book is about celebrating the healing power of cats. It contains 5 heartwarming, interrelated short stories. After reading this book I felt happy, relaxed and healed. If you are also a cat liver or simply seeking a heartwarming and uplifting read, this one is a must-read. I loved this particular sentence: "Her eyes welled up with tears, but they didn't spill over."

I was giddy to get the 2nd book after finishing Foundryside. Robert Jackson Bennett built an amazing fantasy world. In Shorefall he wastes no time flinging us into his world, with a lot more terror and much less handholding. It is exciting, it is dangerous, it maintains its crackle throughout not letting up until the last line. I am looking forward to read the next and last in this installment.

Samantha Shannon delivers again. Among the Burning Flowers is a beautifully written story and offers new insights to this magical world of Chaos. It was worth the wait. I loved it!

Marcus Chown reușește, ca de obicei, să transforme concepte științifice complexe în explicații clare și captivante. It arrived in impeccable condition. The pages are very good quality, the colors are vibrant. It is heavy as expected but it is beautiful and looks very good on my shelf among the other graphic novels. The story of Monstress is very well written, intriguing. Sometimes it gets hard to follow the line of events, so it is better to read it in one go. This is why it is better to get Book 1 then separately each issue.

Mie una mi-a plăcut mai mult decât mă așteptam și deși la început a mers mai greu cu cititul ei, spre final am lăsat orice treburi deoparte și am terminat de citit cartea.

I loved absolutely everything about this graphic novel. The artwork in this series is UNREAL. The story is great with elements of fantasy, feminism, violence and diversity. The intricacies of the world and societies were quite complicated which made for a slow and enjoyable read.

I really, truly enjoyed reading this book. The world building: Mia lives in a world with 3 rotating suns (hence Nevernight) and the author did a fabulous job incorporating that in the book. The tone: the whole book ended up being far more lighthearted than I imagined, even with the violence added. The side characters: quirky, weird and wonderful second characters.

My favorite book of the series deserves an infinite number of stars ✨ This book made me forget I was even reading. I cried, I mourned, I smiled. I had to actually force myself to put this down and get some sleep. I even started to kind of like Nesta? Yes, now I am definitely a Nesta fan. :D I still have 100 pages left to read, but oh boy... what a ride.

This book is so painfully good & certain elements within it tugged at my heartstrings! �� Every bond, confession, and emotion this book portrayed overwhelmed me emotionally. This book is what the first book can never be. A big step up from the first book. This had me laughing and crying multiple times.

Am așteptat cu nerăbdare această carte. Coperta este o adevărată operă de artă. Povestea este fantastică cu caractere unice și cu dragoni. Încă nu am terminat de citit cartea, dar până acum sunt foarte atrasă de poveste și mă bucur de această călătorie magică.

The part two of this series was really filled with action and tension. We also came to know more about the characters, like the Lady of the house, Merin and Maara also. I really enjoyed reading this book and cheered for Tamras all along. When I finished it, I almost immediately started reading the last book of the series.

O carte foarte educativă, informația este foarte bine structurată și conține multe exemple. Este ușor de înțeles, pe gustul oricărei persoane care dorește informații concise și rapide. Recomand această carte!

O poveste adevărat emoționantă și complexă însă și amuzantă. Nu puteam să pun jos cartea. Ador caracterele, ele fiind puternice și unice. Aș citi oricând în continuare aventurile Nimonei.

We first got a glimpse into Stirling and Morrigan’s past in A Game of Hearts and Heists and I couldn’t wait to read their story and it was exactly what I was hoping for. I loved it!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I felt it had just the right amount of action, turmoil and humor. This is actually the first book I have ever read by Leigh Bardugo and it was a great experience.

I loved this book because there isn't a dull moment. The book consists out of five novellas, making it easy to have your attention the entire time because of the changing main plot in each novella. Also great to learn more about the characters, who will at some point reappear in the ToG series.

I watched the full series like 4 times, I was amazed that every time I could discover something new or see a character from a new perspective. When I heard that the continuation of the story will be in the form of comic books, I was excited. I was unable to put down the Ruins of the Empire comic, it is so good that once you open it, you need to finish reading it.

Casa Veselă m-a surprins de la primele pagini datorită stilului în care a fost scrisă, unul extrem de artistic, de roman în toată regula, și nu limbajul simplificat pe care l-am întâlnit de obicei în alte romane grafice.

From the opening, I was struck by how much history I didn't know about China's Cultural Revolution. It might be obvious to anyone growing up in those parts, of course, but I was almost lost in that story long before I saw that there was anything sci-fi about the novel. This is a good thing. It speaks of good writing.

The story of this book is really fun. I wanted more of the series and I am really happy with this continuation.

This book flows like a poem. Listening to the characters as they think, and as they interact, is simply magical. This is not a book of battles, bravery, and death….though it includes all that. This is a book of duty, of belonging, of sharing and caring. Cannot wait to continue reading book 2 and 3.

I am obsessed with this book and the characters. It is sweet, sexy and feminine. I cannot wait to read the other books from this series. For me this is a 5 star novel.
