What Does 'Jesus Loves Your History' Mean To You?

A strange title for a very simple concept. The idea that Jesus loves who you were is painful for many. And a bit unbelievable. How could Jesus love a murderer? How could Jesus love an alcoholic? How could Jesus love me if I have a hard time even loving myself?

And to that I say: How could Jesus NOT love you? We are all given challenges, experience pain and all the horrible feelings we can feel because...it brings us closer to that which loves us and created us in [and with] unconditional love.

Doesn't matter if you are gay. Doesn't matter if you pray to God using a different name or vision of form. Doesn't matter if you are different or strange or painfully awkward. Jesus loves you through it all.

This is a story of pain. Of hope. Of pure unconditional love and the journey one must take to get there.

This is the first book in the "Jesus Loves Your History" Series. The next few books in the series address how we navigate our relationships with those closest to us, gradually moving outward to how we live in society as a whole.

But before we work on our relationships with others, we must first start with our relationship with the God that resides within ourselves.
