When Detective Sergeant Finley Winterbourne was called to investigate poachers in the southern English countryside, he was caught by a sudden twisting light and found himself trapped in a room of nothingness as he was sexually assaulted. Dumped back where he'd been taken from, he learned he was neither the first man this had happened to, recently, nor would he be the last...unless he put an end to it.

But as Finn investigated the assaults, he found several of the other men this might have happened to were dead, and two more had almost been killed.
