Eleven-year-old Christopher Fritz has become all too familiar with loss. While he struggles to settle into a new town and school, Christopher longs for the familiarity of home, his old friends, and his now-shattered relationship with his father, who has landed behind bars. The answer to Christopher's longing is seemingly found in his energetic and enigmatic neighbor, Orion McBride, who claims to know a thing or two about time travel. Determined to reverse the mistakes of the past, Christopher teams up with Orion to perfect the art of leaping through time. And while Christopher is cautiously trusting, he doesn't realize how Orion's marvelous invention will truly change him and his world forever.
